Delma Arpha Becker was born in Richland, WA on November 29, 1913.

Delma Arpha Ragan moved onto Heaven on August 3, 2008.

Delma Ragan started her life as Delma Arpha Becker as the fourth child of Theodore Herman Becker and O'tille Elizabeth (Paul) Becker.  She was one of eight children born to her parents, whom both preceded her in death.

Delma was preceded in death by her two husbands, Swofford Edgemon McClean and Daniel Reuben Ragan.  Swofford died in the early 1960s and Daniel died in the mid-1970s. After Daniel's death, Delma resided by herself in the home they owned in Spokane, Washington until she moved to a local nursing home a couple of years prior to her death.  She was active in the Church and enjoyed her family.

Delma is survived by her brother Marvin Becker of Leoma, TN and her sister Eunice Falwey of Kettle Falls, WA, her step-children Karen Morey-Akkerman, Jerry Falwey, Larry Falwey, and Vernie Hodgson and their children & grandchildren.  She is also survived by a cousin, Anna Atanasoff and numerous nieces & nephews.

Delma and her first husband Swofford, followed the fruit and vegetable harvests.  They picked oranges, lemons and limes in California.  They picked apples, cherries, and peaches in Washington.  They started out traveling in an old bus.

Delma and her second husband Daniel, owned and operated the Senior Citizen Store on East Sprague in the Dishman area of Spokane, Washington.

Delma will be laid to rest beside her first husband at the Fairmount Cemetery in Spokane, Washington.  Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Crestline Church of the Nazarene located at 4520 North Crestline in Spokane, Washington.

Attendance at the funeral service included Delma's sister, Eunice Falwey, cousin Anna Atanasoff and Anna's niece Dorothy Carney.  Also in attendance were step-children Karen Morey-Akkerman, Jerry Falwey & his wife Linda and daughter Sherry, Larry Falwey & his wife Marjorie,  Vernie Hodgson & her husband Wes and their son Daniel & daughter Angela.  Many family members, including her brother and cousins, were unable to attend.
